The new plan year for State benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts) began on July 1, 2020, and any changes you elected during the Benefit Choice period are now in effect. Human Resource Services encourages you to verify your benefit elections and payroll deductions. Please be reminded that all employees enrolled in a medical plan will see a rate increase effective July 1, 2020.
If you made a change during the Benefit Choice period, you should have been mailed a confirmation statement verifying the elected change. You can also verify your benefit elections by viewing them online on the MyBenefits website. To review your elections, you will need to log into the system with your State issued ID and your individual password. Your current coverage for FY2021 can be reviewed on the left side of the main page after logging into the system on the “Your Benefits” tile. If you select “View All”, you will see your personal information, your coverage information, and your dependent(s) information.
It is also recommended that you review your paycheck to confirm that your payroll deductions for State insurance are consistent with your Benefit Choice elections. Salaried employees will see payroll deduction changes for FY2021 on the paycheck they receive on July 15, 2020. Hourly employees will see payroll deduction changes for FY2021 on the paycheck they receive on July 31, 2020.
