At the beginning of this calendar year, the Division of Human Resource Services (HRS) began working closely with the vendor of our PeopleAdmin personnel system to conduct an extensive review and overhaul project of the various forms and processes of PeopleAdmin in an effort to make them more intuitive, and to eliminate outdated processes while streamlining others. Recently, a change was made to the title “Employment Admin Portal” which is the second tab on the HRS homepage. This tab has been renamed “PeopleAdmin Portal” to more accurately depict the system users are entering when clicking on that tab. Additionally, the title of the login page for PeopleAdmin has been changed from “Northern Illinois University” to “NIU PeopleAdmin.” Lastly, users may see a minor tweak to the titles of PeopleAdmin tabs on their browsers as “NIU PeopleAdmin” has replaced “Northern Illinois University” as the primary title name.
More changes to PeopleAdmin are forthcoming and will be shared via announcements and the HRS website’s “News and Announcements” section.
