Beginning on Thursday, April 18, HRS will begin implementing enhancements to the PeopleAdmin System. These enhancements are expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, April 19. These enhancements include:
For Staff
- Creation of a new position request option for Staff positions titled “Salary/Pay Adjustment ONLY” which will be used specifically to request only a salary or pay adjustment of an incumbent.
- Revision of the “JD Update Justification” tab on the current Staff Job Description Update position request form to reduce the amount of information required for entry to streamline the process.
- Revision of the Vacate position request form for Faculty and Staff to enhance the user experience and reduce the amount of information required for entry to streamline the process.
For Faculty
- Creation of a new position request option for Faculty positions titled “Appointment/Change Update” which will be used to make updates that are specific to Faculty appointments.
- Revision of the Vacate position request form for Faculty and Staff to enhance the user experience and reduce the amount of information required for entry to streamline the process.
- The migration of all Post-Doc positions to the Staff classification will be implement on April 29. The purpose of this change is for continuity of the Staff classification since Post-Doc positions are inherently Supportive Professional Staff (SPS) positions.
