Outage with some Windows Computers / NIU Systems

NIU is affected by the global CrowdStrike outage. As a result, many employees are unable to log in to their Windows computers and/or affected NIU systems.

DoIT personnel are working with distributed IT personnel to test workarounds and identify business critical systems and applications to deploy fixes to as they become available.

Supervisors should assess the impact on computers and systems in their areas and communicate with employees to ensure that operations are covered by those whose access has not been comprised by this outage.

Employees who are affected by this outage should complete other tasks or professional development activities as assigned by their supervisors. Employees may also elect to use their paid benefit time today as well.
