University Holidays for 2022

President Lisa Freeman has approved the following holiday schedule for 2022:

If you’re an hourly employee in a position not covered by a collective bargaining agreement and are required to work on a holiday, you’ll be paid at your regular rate plus one-and-one-half times the regular rate. Alternatively, if agreed to by your supervisor, you can receive compensatory time off at the rate of time-and-one-half plus holiday pay. If you’re an employee covered by a prevailing rate, you’ll be compensated in accordance with your local area agreement. If you are an hourly employee in a position not covered by a collective bargaining agreement and you are required to work on an Administrative Closure Day you will be given time off on an hour-for-hour basis, or receive additional straight-time pay at the option of the department.

Per Campus Parking Services, parking enforcement for the 2021/2022 holiday period will be as follows:

• Dec. 13–22, 2021: All parking regulations will be enforced.
• Dec. 23, 2021 – Jan. 3, 2022: Parking regulations that will be enforced during the holiday closure period include the following: reserved parking, no parking zones (including fire lanes), and handicapped spaces.
• Jan. 4, 2022: All parking regulations will be enforced.

NOTE: The visitor’s lot will be open at no charge from Dec. 13, 2021, through Jan. 9, 2022. Payment will be required again on Jan. 10, 2022.
