Human Resource Services in coordination with Building Services departmental leadership have made a change to the procedures for bargaining unit members to provide documentation of medical appointments. Effective immediately, all doctor’s notes that are required for employees on proof status and all doctor’s notes used to excuse absences should be turned into the drop box outside of Building Services West. Any doctor’s notes that are turned in with restrictions should continue to be provided to Human Resource Services. Additionally, all documentation related to FMLA or NIU Illness leaves should continue to be provided to Human Resource Services.
