CORRECTION: The location of Administrative Professionals Day Fun Fair has been updated. The event will take place in the Holmes Student Center Regency Room, not in the Altgeld Hall Auditorium as previously communicated.
The university has authorized release time for employees to attend the Administrative Professionals Day Fun Fair from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in the Holmes Student Center Regency Room.
Release time is subject to operational requirements and should be prearranged by the employee with their supervisor. We encourage all supervisors to work to plan to cover duties, if possible, to allow their administrative professionals to join this event.
Please join us as we celebrate and recognize the outstanding contributions of our administrative professionals across campus. The Fun Fair will feature games, refreshments, and other activities — a well-deserved afternoon of appreciation for all that you do to keep NIU running
