The new plan year for State benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance and flexible spending accounts) began July 1, 2026, and any changes you elected during the Benefit Choice period are now in effect. Human Resource Services encourages you to verify your benefit elections and payroll deductions.
If you made a change during the Benefit Choice period, you should have received a mailed confirmation statement verifying the change. You can also verify your benefit elections online through the MyBenefits website. To review your elections, log into the system with your State-issued ID and individual password. Your current FY2027 coverage appears on the left side of the main page under the “My Benefits” tile. Select “Self-Service Tools,” then “View My Elections” to see your coverage information, personal information and dependent information.
Review your paycheck to confirm your payroll deductions for State insurance match your Benefit Choice elections. Salaried employees will see FY2027 payroll deduction changes on the paycheck they receive July 15, 2026. Hourly employees will see FY2027 payroll deduction changes on the paycheck they receive July 31, 2026.
Premium contribution rates for health coverage are increasing for FY2027; however, some employees may see an overall premium decrease due to changes in annual salary bands. See the FY2027 Benefit Choice booklet for more information.
If anything on the MyBenefits system or your paycheck is inconsistent with your FY2027 benefit elections, contact the MyBenefits Service Center at 844-251-1777 or 844-251-1778 (TTY). Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central time.
